Well . . . for a family of 5, I went over my "hopeful" amount by $8 . . . not too bad I guess. Also added to my food storage.

Unless there are some awesome sales next week, I don't see my budget going over $50. I have enough chicken for the month, and enough ground beef for the next two weeks. A pound of ground beef goes a long way . . . I usually use 1/3-1/2 of the ground beef called for in recipes. Same with the chicken. Also, I still have a bag of apples from a shopping trip last week that need to be eaten.
